List of products by brand Moët & Chandon

The history of Moët & Chandon begins in 1743, when Claude Moët began to distribute their production outside the Champagne region. The demand for sparkling wine increased dramatically thanks also to Madame de Pompadour, confidant of the King of France Louis XV, who proposed it at court, determining its success. It was Madame de Pompadour who said that Champagne is the only wine that makes women beautiful after drinking it. But the real growth of this house occurred with his nephew - Jean-Rémy Moët, who exported Champagne to Europe and the United States, serving very famous clients such as Napoleon and Thomas Jefferson. The name Chandon was added in 1832, when Jean-Rémy passed the company half to his son, Victor, and half to his son-in-law, Pierre Gabrielle Chandon, becoming Moët & Chandon.
