It was 1970 when Carmelo turned his love for his land into a winning business, starting an entrepreneurial adventure with his wife Ida. Together with their four children Giorgio, Giusy, Marco and Miriam they have made one of the oldest Sicilian traditions, the preparation of ready-made sauce, a Made in Sicily product of excellence. The Monterosso Agricultural Society is located in the extreme south-eastern corner of Sicily, in one of the municipalities in the province of Ragusa highest above sea level (around 700m), Chiaramonte Gulfi. Agromonte products are B.R.C., I.F.S., Halal, Kosher and Vegan certified; Furthermore, the company implements a rigorous health and hygiene self-control plan, drawn up by our specialized technicians, and follows the HACCP system, as required by the community regulations currently in force.
